About My Art Classes
I believe young minds are ripe for artistic activity, and if nurtured, can grow a love of all the arts.
Rather than a class of crafts, we learn about artists, technique, and elements of art, and we learn to make art using our own voices. In my classes, we learn art history along with music appreciation, as I always pair each class with music from the era of the artist we are studying. This provides additional context to the artists' life, history, and really immerses the children in the time and lives of the artists.
Classes are held Monday afternoons at Centenary UMC in Greensboro, NC.
